Many people simply do not understand religion. They follow what their parents taught them, what they’ve seen on television or in movies, or what they themselves have chosen to believe. And this is entirely understandable. Why should anyone believe something written by a man, especially when it’s clear that many religious leaders, both past and present, have had questionable motives rooted in money, fame, and power? So let us begin at the beginning with pure instinct. Without any books, you already know that the earth, the sun, the moon, and the billions of planets did not magically appear out of nowhere. You know these things were created. You were born with this awareness; it has always been there. Even as a child, when you looked up at the sky in wonder, you sensed that someone up there had created all those beautiful and astonishing things. That child you once were held the truth.
