One of the ways to win Allah’s favor and forgiveness is to cultivate good character. We obtain this good character by following and applying in our daily lives what we have learned from Allah and His Messenger Muhammad (PBUH). The Qur’an and the sayings (ahadith) are the tools we must use to attain this favor and forgiveness. Once we learn, we must practice until Allah makes our feet firm. The throne is held suspended in air by thousands of angels. Under the throne is water, and under that water is the seventh heaven. Then below the seventh heaven is the sixth heaven, and then the fifth, fourth, third, second, and first heavens, which Muhammad called the As-Samaa' Ad-Dunya, the heaven closest to us. Allah created the angels. According to the Quran and Muhammad, they are beings without free will and have an abundance of knowledge. They are not able to fail in their assigned duties. Their physical composition is unclear.
